USCO now offers a unique and challenging switch installation training program tailored specifically for utility contractors and field service crews. This 2-day training is held either at the USCO factory or at the customer's location. The training is conducted in the classroom as well as in the field where participants will gain valuable hand-on experience in USCO switch installations. The program covers everything from basic switch construction to troubleshooting switch control mechanisms. Course Contents: Learn how to specify Surge Arresters to effectively protect Distribution, Substation and Transmission Systems. This course will cover application theory and the historical development of overvoltage protection for utility systems. Discussion will also include engineering design considerations and application issues such as insulation coordination. A Factory Tour of Surge Arresters in production will also be included.

This course will cover the theory and the actual installation of various types of Anchoring systems. A tour of the Anchor Manufacturing facility will be included.
